Pure Pilates

The way Joe wanted. We’ll integrate modern exercise science with Joseph Pilates’ mat repertoire of exercises to create a class that improves core strength, flexibility, and posture while challenging coordination and mind-muscle connection. The music is softer to create an environment that promotes focus and self-awareness for 50 minutes. All levels welcome.

Mat Sculpt

Where Pilates meets strength. This full body mat class infuses the Pilates principles into strength training exercises by incorporating weights and low-impact cardio. We’ll turn the music up to power us through a challenging 50 minute workout. You’ll leave feeling stronger and empowered. All levels welcome.

Essential Reformer

The foundation for Pilates. In this class, the primary focus will be on the essential reformer Pilates repertoire. We’ll soften the music and slow things down to allow for additional explanations and form corrections. Whether you have extensive reformer experience or this is your first class on a reformer, your mind and muscles will be challenged for 50 minutes. All levels welcome.

Reformer Sculpt

Dynamic and challenging. This reformer Pilates class combines the precision of Pilates with the intensity of weight training. You’ll engage your muscles in new ways, building strength, endurance, and flexibility, all while maintaining control and form. Expect a full-body workout that pushes you to your limits for 50 minutes with the music turned up. We highly recommend beginning with an Essential Reformer class (or several) before taking Reformer Sculpt.

Athletic Reformer

High-intensity, low-impact on the jump board. For 50 minutes, you’ll power through an energetic and exhilarating class that targets your legs, core, and glutes while building cardio endurance. The music and vibes are up to have you feeling stronger, toned, and revitalized. This class uses a jump board attachment on the reformer. We highly recommend having experience in Essential Reformer and Reformer Sculpt classes prior to taking Athletic Reformer.

Olivia Harris

Trained in mat and reformer STOTT Pilates, Olivia is the owner and lead instructor for Recharged Pilates. From her experience as a former collegiate cheerleader and coach, you can expect attention to detail and precision when in Olivia’s class. Outside of the studio, she’s walking the aisles of Trader Joe’s, girl bossing at her corporate job, or having fun with her daughter and husband. Olivia’s recharge tip? Even on rest days, a little movement – stretching, walking or breathwork – keeps your energy flowing.

Anne McDonough

Anne has been teaching reformer Pilates since 2021, working with a diverse group of clients—from professional athletes to beginners. She is a certified health coach through IIN and loves all things health and wellness. When she isn’t at the studio you’ll find her out for walks in Ann Arbor where she lives, making matcha or hanging out with friends. Her classes are designed to challenge you while emphasizing proper form and mindful movement, you’ll be sure to leave any of Anne’s classes with a mood boost!

Brittany Young

Brittany Young is a 3rd year Pre-Law major at Michigan State University where she discovered her passion for instructing. She has amassed 2 years of experience teaching Pilates with Black Girl Fitness and Crunch Fitness. Dedicated to her craft, she is guaranteed to deliver a unique experience built to redefine your fitness success. 

Julissa Munsters

Julissa is a certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor in both mat and Reformer as well as a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is actively pursuing full Level 1  STOTT PILATES® certification on all apparatus to include Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels! Her goal is to help you build a foundation of strength and guide you to discover neuromuscular connections beyond what you’ve ever experienced before! When she's not teaching Pilates, Julissa is foraging her acreage for experimental noms in her kitchen, nerding-out about holistic wellness, or vegging at home with her daughter and husband.
